The Cell Phone and an Emerging Market
Each and every year, the cell phone and their emerging market continue to increase; we should see somewhere around one billion handsets sold in the year 2009. This is an amazing and staggering fact. Where do we all use these new age wonders? Let’s take a look.
The emerging markets of China and India have paved the way for major expansion and growth in the standard cell phone market. The growing capitalistic movements in these countries are allowing for more opportunities in commerce; these opportunities open the door for consumers in these countries to earn wages that put them in a new category: consumers on the open market, with money to spend.
One of the most often purchased electronic items is the cell phone. When you couple the availability of cell phone access, with internet access, camera phone options, and text messaging, it makes sense that this would be one of the first purchases.
This brings us to one of the latest additions to cell phones that are also creating a new market for the cell phone industry: mobile gaming. Thanks to the addition of color screens, and internet connectivity, the mobile gaming market is headed to the cell phone. It seems that there are some markets that will find a way, no matter what the device and gaming and adult content videos would be the most often cited.
There also is another hot and growing market: the adult video industry. This market has also found its way to cell phones, thanks to internet connectivity and color screens. An improvement in the LCD technology that is used for cell phone displays has aided the advance into cell phone access.
The wonders of technology may never escape the human factor in practical application. This is one aspect of improvement that will never change.
